Review for The Weird Little Girl Who Talked To Ghosts! Chezzi Denyer is an award-winning television producer, radio host, writer, qualified spiritual medium, and proud mum to three beautiful girls. I’m delighted to be reviewing her incredible memoir in this post! Comment on my Instagram and Facebook posts and I’ll reply when I can. I’ve known Chezzi since 2023 and our 6 kids get along together like old fairy friends.
An excerpt from the back cover is below:
“As a small girl growing up in a quiet regional town in Australia, Chezzi never realised she was different. Playing in her backyard with her friends felt perfectly normal, until she discovered she was the only one who could seethem….
The Weird Little Girl is not a story for the faint-hearted. It is an honest, soul-stirring journey through identity, loss, and awakening. With courage and vulnerability, Chezzi invites us all to embrace the unknown, trust our intuition, and reconnect with the parts of ourselves we’ve learned to hide.”
I’ve sent this post to Chezzi and this was her reply: “WOW. Oh WOW. Sarah, this is incredible. You have really blown me away with your review. I am really humbled and, to be honest, a tad in shock. Wow. Thank you for your kind words. You have left me speechless. It’s been such a bumpy ride to get here, and you captured all of that in your review. Wow. Plus, you also saying the numbers for the book gave me serious chills as I have seen and have been drawn to 6’s and 3’s since my friend Amy died, and so to hear the numbers my book title equates to feels somewhat serendipitous.”
Background
I’ve known Chezzi since she and her husband Grant Denyer interviewed me for their podcast, It’s All True. The video is at the end of this post. We talked about 11:11 sightings, how people hide their spiritual gifts until mid-life, how the new children are super-psychic etc.
Chezzi’s Book Baby is Born!
After we met, I introduced Chezzi to Dr Toni Reilly, my past lives and mediumship mentor and they hit it off, going to Arthur Findlay College together, among other achievements. Chezzi and I also stayed in touch – our kids get along well plus I recorded some of her poetry.
Long story short, Chezzi has now published her memoir, The Weird Little Girl Who Talked to Ghosts. I received my copies this morning after taking the day off sick. Interestingly, the mailman knocked just after I’d had a distance healing with Deniz Akan for my inner child/ writer.
Chezzi cheekily signed my book with ‘Dearest Sarah, thank you for being an important part of my story. I hope you enjoy reading my book! Thank you for always believing in me. P.S I am ready to write the foreword for your book now…so get writing!! xxx’

Numerology for Chezzi’s Book:
-Its shortened title ‘The Weird Little Girl’, has a 99/18/9 numerology*, this brings a rare energy I call the Master Old Soul. It’s about healing the healers, teaching the teachers and finishing up your lifetimes on Earth. My eldest son Forrest has a 99/18/9 Destiny name, I’ve also seen this in Queen Mary of Denmark (see article)/ Queen Elizabeth II’s charts and other female leaders’ charts. *Its full code is 9-6-3 which is very spiritual.
-The book’s full title ‘The Weird Little Girl Who talked to ghosts’ has a 168/15/6 numerology*, this opens the sixth chakra/ third eye/ ESP which is PERFECT for Chezzi’s message. *Its full code is 6-3-3 which is about being a whistleblower and big mouth to wake up humanity.

My Review of The Weird Little Girl Who talked to ghosts…
I loved: the level of detail, intimacy and authentic truth-telling. I have read dozens of memoirs by psychics but Chezzi’s book is in a league of its own. This memoir is like 3 books in one:
1) The story of her total rebirth from an intuitive child who shut her gifts down, went into the public spotlight then realised she was a top-tier medium with many past lives as a healer.
2) A practical guide to holistic living when you & your family possess intense psychic abilities,
3) Plus a unique section with channelled messages from Spirits to their remaining loved ones.
I promise, you will laugh and cry your guts out reading Chezzi’s book then hopefully, get up and do everything on your bucket list and more!! This book is a shot of adrenaline to the Soul, it will restore your Angel wings and inspire you to live every moment with gratitude for life. I really enjoyed the references to animal/ bird messengers and many tales of her telepathic kids, who spoke to her before they were even conceived. This happened with our family too.
I literally picture this book inside a glass case like a defibrillator saying ‘break in case of spiritual emergencies (to restore broken hearts)’. Here’s an image I created below.

I was challenged by: the extreme losses Chezzi and her family have faced, including miscarriages, the death of friends and loved ones and some of the past life experiences that are detailed. I could relate to many aspects of her life, in uncanny detail. For example, my late friend Butterfly returned as a Kookaburra who I talked to – Chezzi also talks about Kookaburra totems.
There were pages where I felt like Chezzi was speaking so lovingly to my wounded/ psychic child self, with absolutely no filter. That’s a compliment to her as an author. She is so generous and has this ability to make everybody feel seen and accepted at a deep, cosmic level.
I had not thought about the impacts of living with ADHD from a spiritual sense but Chezzi outlines things so profoundly that I will be doing more research. I have a partial autism diagnosis, FYI. The book is a BIG read and to be honest, I plan to read it fully over a few months.
Overall: Chezzi has done herself proud with a book that I am certain thousands of readers, not to mention her children and grandchildren will treasure forever. I highly recommend getting yourself and your ‘weird’ friends who see Spirits this book too! Chezzi’s writing is high quality, super informative, deeply personal and way beyond words. It is a healing toolkit for anyone who has lost someone they miss daily. For those who are looking for the next steps to Soul recovery.
As the Joseph Campbell poem goes:
“It is by going down into the abyss
that we recover the treasures of life.
Where you stumble,
there lies your treasure.
The very cave you are afraid to enter
turns out to be the source of
what you are looking for.
The damned thing in the cave
that was so dreaded
has become the center.
You find the jewel,
and it draws you off.
In loving the spiritual,
you cannot despise the earthly.”
Chezzi – my absolute gratitude to you for doing what seemed impossible in order to free yourself from fear. Your book about coming out of the spiritual closet to change the world is an absolute blessing and I’m so looking forwards to reading even more of your work in future!
