What I loved: the powerhouse writing, utter truthfulness and heart-centred stories. Robin’s devotion to changing the world is 1000%, no wonder hundreds came to her book launch on 31 March at the Greek Club in Brisbane (see photos below). I was lucky enough to be there. The majority of people had been listening to Robin on radio for over 20 years – they did a poll!
In my experience, her memoir is about the eternal flame of love. You feel Spirit pouring through Robin’s insights about her incredible radio career, gut-wrenching relationship losses and 30yr practice of group meditation. She talks about white-lighting, life after death, her Guides and manifesting in the most humble, no-BS way.
I read this book until 2am today and it’s moved mountains of self-doubt. The signs have been relentless, e.g. Robin talks about Sean as ‘panda’ and we just parked next to a car with panda seats!! I also keep hearing ‘Love is in the Air’.
Robin comes from a long line of strong women/ single mums who’ve called out injustice (her mum took on Rupert Murdoch). That explains her unstoppable energy. Just wow.
I was challenged by: the raw accounts of mental and physical decline/ death. This is a (butter)fly on the wall account of Robin’s hardest moments – Tony’s suicide, Sean’s passing from liver cancer, her ruthless treatment by media/ trolls and more. Also the betrayals by some friends and family. True story: In 2016, I was on the phone to Robin, about to talk about astrology, just as she was sacked on 97.3FM. Only found out what happened via the news the next day – see blog.
As a psychic who has read for Robin and her family (including Sean), I sobbed learning more about their brief marriage, even though I’d seen some of the draft. I’m so glad she has Olivier in her life now.
Overall: A must-read for anyone who loves Robin and wants to know how she’s rebirthed herself despite extreme tragedies.
