Blast from the past! Just found my business card from 2008. I’d just started doing palmreadings at @mbsfestival while still in my fundraising job. The photo is from my 10 year high school reunion.
Back then, I was too sheepish to tell many ppl about my hobby as I went to James Ruse (the top academic school in NSW). Most of my peers went on to become doctors and lawyers. Pretty sure I am the only professional psychic!
On that note – it took me almost 2000 readings to call myself a psychic. I really have taken the scenic route. I was so caught up on being acceptable that I didn’t want to out myself, especially after some of my family had issues with me doing ‘the devil’s work’.
Perhaps that is why I am still in the game, 13 years later. The way you start a relationship is usually how it continues.
I took many years before committing to a new spiritual path (previously, I was Christian), so I understand when my clients and students need patience and encouragement rather than impossible promises of healing and salvation.
In fact, my favourite people are sceptics, as they trust facts and figures – something numerology and palmistry can give them.
When you see your life history explained on paper using personal years…when you see your palmistry lines changing in photos…it really rocks the ego and opens the heart to growth.
The quote on the back of my card is ‘when I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.’ (Lao Tzu)
I hope these words inspire you today to out yourself in some cathartic way. Your future self is waiting for you to expand!
