Numerology For Alysa Liu (Liú Měixián) – Olympic Gold Medallist Figure Skater & 23/5 Life Path Rebel!

Congrats to Alysa Liu (Liu Meixian) on her dual Olympic Gold Medals! Alysa is the first American female to win a medal in singles figure skating in 24 years. She is coached by the devoted team of Phillip DiGuglielmo and Massimo Scali. This victory comes after her shock retirement in 2022 at age 16.

As a 23/5 life path Rebel in numerology, with a 1 Destiny known name (the Pioneer), she’s the embodiment of grace under fire and growth in a crisis! I love her halo/ stripey hair (TIGER adds to 23/5 and is one of the lucky totems for this life path).

Here are 9 fast facts about Alysa Liu’s winning numerology. I hope you enjoy them!

1) Born 8 August 2005, Alysa Liu arrived on the powerful Lion’s Gate Portal. This is a double boss/ abundance date in numerology and brings 11:11 Starseed energies for manifestion. In Chinese culture, 8 is lucky. FYI I know parents who have elective caesareans, to ensure their children are born on certain days to enhance their destiny. I’m not saying this was the case with Alysa.

2) Her DOB (8+8+2+0+0+5) adds to 23/5, making her a Rebel life path. Sure enough, she’s called a Rebel and free Spirit in this recent 60 minutes interview with her father. 5 life paths come to heal their Throat chakra, find their voice/ intuition and release the fear of persecution. They teach us that diversity is healthy and speaking up for change brings public healing. Find your life path

3) At her childhood life path turning point of 5, she took up figure skating. It’s definitely part of her purpose. She’s only 20, so we’ll have to wait and see what her adult life path turning point will be. I feel it will involve teaching/ education/ leadership/ politics as her father Arthur Liu is a well-known activist who had to flee China. He is now a lawyer in America.

4) She’s in a 7 personal year of miracles and mayhem. This is a time to open her crown chakra (to oneness) and be an Angel/Queen/ Spiritual Teacher. 7 is a lucky number for Alysa, as she has a 7 pinnacle* (life chapter) from age 0-31. Her numbers predict wins from Aug 2025 – Jul 2026. Find your personal year

*7 takes the long road to the top, with many detours and sudden openings. It’s linked to lateral thinking and alternative education. Alysa was home schooled and graduated high school at 15.

5) Alysa has a rare DOB grid. ALL her numbers lie in the 2-5-8 line of partnerships row. I’ve never seen this before, however it will be more common in people born after 2000-. This line gives her emotional balance and a gift for relationships, creating communities and negotiating. She works well in a team, can deal with conflict and manage difficult people/ big egos in others.

Bonus tip: Alysa also has a bendy thumb in palmistry, which is fantastic for wow-ing big crowds and dealing with chaos. Well, she is the eldest daughter in a large family. Basically – Alysa is SUPER influenced by others. She needs to balance pleasing others with listening to herself. Watch my recent TV interview on reading thumbs.

She may try to hide her pain, so as not to worry others (similar to masking with autism/ neurodiversity.) I note that Alysa has said “I have ADHD and I love situations that I’m not expecting,” Liu said. “It gives me a dopamine rush.” in this ESPN interview.

Because Alysa has no numbers in her DOB grid in the top and bottom row, she is likely to be kinaesthetic (learns by doing/ trial and error), quite spiritual and needs to work with a big team.

6) Alysa is known for her incredible athleticism, expressiveness and unique ‘alt’ style. She used a needle on her own frenulum to create a ‘smiley’ piercing. Her signature Angel halo/ striped hair by hairdresser Kelsey Miller reflects her desire to emulate tree rings/ mark time. After quitting figure skating at 16, she’s come back without her father ruling her career. She manages her own coaches, diet, routines, outfits – everything now. ‘No one’s going to starve me again!’ This is exactly what 5 life paths are here to show us – that we can be the change agents. Interestingly, Alysa’s father was inspired by Michelle Kwan’s skating and Michelle is a 32/5 life path. Sync.

7) She has two Old Soul codes in numerology. These people show us ‘the high price of success’. Alysa’s Chinese name Liú Měixián (meaning beautiful and virtuous) adds to a 9 Destiny, 9 Soul Urge and 9 Inner Dream. 9 is the Old Soul/ global thinker who comes to bring humanity across a finish line to rewrite history. She also has a 0 Challenge until 31, suggesting she was born with strong past-life gifts and will show early promise/ talents. There are huge changes for her at 31-32, bringing new life & love.

8) Her known name Alysa Liu adds to 1 Destiny, 3 Soul Urge and 7 Inner Dream. This means she will be No.1 in her field (allowing for free will, environmental factors, etc.), command authority and be a black sheep in her industry/ sport. She’s also an artist (which she’s said before) and loves talking things out with people who care. High charm factor and she loves to keep learning!

Note: I’m unsure if Alysa’s legal name is Alysa Měixián Liú but if it is, then she has a Karmic 13/4 Destiny – this can bring workaholism, eating issues, a tendency to suppress feelings and strong inner critic. Also trouble focusing on personal goals versus always helping others. With support, this can be transformed into spiritual/ counselling/ public speaking abilities, musicality/ creativity and an amazing ability to empower others, including children and the young at heart. My birth name was a 13/4 Destiny, so I know the pros and cons of this vibe.

9) Predictions wise, Alysa is following her numerology chart quite precisely. Wake up calls at 5 (taking up skating), 16 (quitting skating) etc. I believe she’s due for changes in her home life and relationships at 21, major leadership roles at 23 (her life path turning point age), positive changes at 25 (the age her father was when he left China) and 28 (career transformation). Time will tell!

On a non-spiritual sidenote: Alysa’s father Arthur Liu (Liu Junguo), a single dad has 5 kids, born via surrogate mothers and egg donors. He told media that he invested $500K-$1million in Alysa’s skating training. His fascinating past is the topic of many internet threads.

Arthur’s ex-wife Mary (Yan Qingxin), who is Alysa’s legal guardian, was a former partner of the late Zhang Hongbao, leader of the lucrative Zhong Gong spiritual organisation (which launched on 8 August 1987 and was deemed a cult in China by 1999.) Mary and Arthur brought court cases against Zhang (a 25/7 life path Spiritual Teacher), alleging domestic violence and financial abuse. The case was settled out of court and Alysa was born after this time. I have included these details, due to my interest in politics and preventing coercive control in relationships.

Good luck to Alysa, her family & team!

Cheers
